About 646 All Out!
“646 All out!” is a non-affiliated independent campaign, that receives no funding from anyone. This is not an anti-politics site nor is it in favour of people disconnecting from the political process – quite the reverse in fact. “646 All out!” is in favour of everyone exercising their right to vote and believes that there is no such thing as a wasted vote. That said we’ve seen no evidence that any of the current incumbents are fit for office, and believe that the purposes of democracy would be best served if they were all removed and no candidate from any of the major parties returned.
We accept that this goal is very very unlikely to be achieved. However just because a goal may not be achievable is no reason not to try, the worst that can happen is we make no difference. But between these extremes and along the way we can open up the debate, register our discontent, maybe make a few people stop and think and perhaps even make the isolated political elite remember who they’re meant to be representing.
We hope to be able to publish articles from or link to any small party or independent candidate that asks us to (Send them in – legal issues allowing we will.). Whilst much of our campaign to get people to vote differently will be on-line as it’s cheap and easy, we do intend to branch out into the physical world as much as we can. Until people are interested in more than just what the mainstream media tells them they’re not going to look for any political blog or website let alone this one.
